A different way to tie the knot
This isn’t about doing it the “right way".

You already know a traditional wedding isn't for you. You don’t want a list of poses to follow. You want space to actually live and enjoy the day. The kind of day that you'll look back in fifty-years and think "that was us". Not because it was styled perfectly, but because it felt real while you were there.

As a destination elopement photographer, my role isn’t to turn it into production. It’s to help you build something honest — and then give you the space to fully enjoy it, while I document it in a way that reflects what it actually felt like to live it.

Some places change you.
Some days stay with you.
Your elopement should be both.

Some places change you.
Your elopement should too.

Meet your elopement photographer

I know what it means to choose yourself.

Hi, I’m Sabrina —
but my friends call me Sab.

I’m a Utah-based, destination elopement photographer, and I’m a little obsessed with that feeling of standing somewhere that makes everything else go quiet for a second. The kind of day where you look at each other and think oh… this is it.

That's what I want for you. When you work with me, you get more than someone who shows up with a camera. I help shape the experience with you — from narrowing down locations and building a timeline, to the little details that make the day feel easier once you’re in it.

My job is to make space for you to slow down, laugh, take it in, and actually experience what you’re doing — while I quietly handle everything happening around you. I don’t document perfect moments. I document the ones that stay with you. Because some experiences don’t just become photographs, they become part of who you are.

A quick reframe

Your wedding — reimagined.

It's not escaping.
It’s not skipping the meaning.
And it’s definitely not selfish.

It’s a wedding built around intention and experience, not expectation.

Just the two of you.
Or a small crew.
Vows. Champagne. Celebration.

The difference? You choose what matters most.

“She made us feel completely at ease. Nothing felt forced, and the final gallery felt cinematic but still completely us.”
— Esperanza & Anton

What a destination elopement can look like.

It can mean hiking to your ceremony. It can mean bringing your dogs. It can mean a slow morning, a private vow exchange, a dinner with a few people who mean the absolute world to you. Or something else entirely. And that's the point! This is a day all about you two, built exactly for you two.

It can look like

More room to actually experience it.

A day with space to breathe, take things in, and be present instead of moving from one expected moment to the next.

It can feel like

Something bigger than a ceremony.

The kind of day that changes you a little. The kind you look back on years later and still feel in your bones.

And practically

It still needs shape.

That is where I come in — helping you figure out what matters, where it makes sense to go, and how to build a day that feels honest from start to finish.

This does not have to fit anyone else’s definition of a wedding.

My job is to help you find what feels like you — and then bring it to life.

FAQs

Elopement Photography

The questions that come up when you want the day to feel real — not staged, not rushed, not built for anyone but you two.

Totally fair — and honestly, most of my couples say the same thing.

My approach is movement-first and moment-led. I’ll give you simple direction when you need it, then back off so you can actually enjoy the day.

Do you help plan the day — or just show up and shoot? Support

I help you shape the experience — location direction, pacing, and a timeline that protects what matters.

  • Location guidance based on how you want the day to feel
  • Timeline built with breathing room (not a shot list sprint)
  • Backup plans for weather/light/access so you don’t carry that stress

Basically: structure without rigidity. Calm when things shift.

How many hours of coverage do we actually need? Coverage

It depends on whether you want a ceremony-only moment… or an experience.

If you want time to slow down (and not rush between locations), more coverage gives you space for the parts that end up meaning the most: the quiet, the movement, the in-between.

Can we bring our dog? Dogs

Sometimes yes — and sometimes the location rules decide for us.

I’ll help you choose a dog-friendly option (or build a plan for including them for part of the day) so you’re not stressed about logistics or restrictions.

How do Utah elopements work (permits, rules, logistics)? Utah

Utah is unreal — but the rules vary a lot by location (especially in parks and high-traffic areas).

I’ll help you choose a spot that fits your vision and keep things realistic around access, crowds, weather shifts, and any permits needed.

If you want the full Utah breakdown, start here: Utah Elopement Photographer — what to expect.

What if the weather goes sideways? Backup

Then we pivot — without panic.

I plan with backups in mind (light, access, alternate spots, timing shifts). Some of the most powerful images happen when things aren’t “perfect,” they’re just honest.

How much does an elopement photographer cost? Pricing

Pricing depends on coverage length, location complexity, and how much planning support you want included.
